Your AI assistant

In the full product, this is where each staff member connects their AI assistant. This demo is simulated, so there is nothing to connect.

Visibility

What your teammates see of your agents' work.

How a teammate sees one of your agents:

Your plugin's detail level also limits this, and the lower of the two wins. For Full detail, set the plugin's detail level to full as well.

Default team

Your agents sit in this team's room unless a project's .claude/office.json names a team. Your chat apps' visitors use this team for their label only.

Your colour

Your dot in the AI Office and in the Gym Memory uses it. A colour someone else uses can't be picked, so everyone stays easy to tell apart.

Your key

Your key signs you in here, connects your plugin and connects your chat apps. It's stored only as a hash, so it can't be shown again. If you've lost it or it leaked, ask your admin to rotate it. The old key stops working everywhere within 30 seconds.

Set up the plugin

Four steps, about two minutes. Run the commands inside Claude Code.

1. Add the team marketplace

   Copy

   Replace <marketplace source> with the address your admin gave you.

2. Install the office plugin

   Copy

   The install asks for your office key. Paste it there.

3. Choose your detail level and team

   In the plugin's settings, pick the same visibility and default team as above. The hooks work in the Claude Code desktop app too.

4. Start a Claude Code session

   Restart Claude Code once so the hooks start, then open a session in any project.

The plugin can file a wrap-up note when you stop. You can turn that off in the plugin's settings.

Connect chat apps

Your personal connector link looks like this. Your admin gave you the key, and it never appears on this page.

Treat the finished link like a password. Claude and ChatGPT call it from their own servers, so it has to be a public HTTPS address.

• Claude

  Open Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector. Paste your link as the URL and choose No sign-in.

• ChatGPT

  On the website (Plus, Pro, Business or Edu), open Settings, then Apps, then Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode. Create an app, paste your link and choose No authentication.

• Claude Code

  Run claude mcp add --transport http --scope user second-brain <your link>, then claude mcp list to confirm. The office plugin already includes the connector, so skip this if you installed it.

To save explaining the connector in every chat, paste this into your Project's instructions:

Chat apps appear in the Office only while they're calling the connector. They walk in as visitors, wait in the café, carry their own notes to the library and leave after 15 minutes without a call.
